Utah has rapidly become one of the nations hot spots for big bull elk! There are 400 class bulls harvested consistently every year. We hunt some of the most beautiful areas i the state that hold healthy herds of elk year around.  We hunt over 24,000 acres of private land and every acre is huntable. In other words, there is not a spot within these areas that does not hold elk. These areas are full of dense piney slopes, open meadows and aspen groves. Water is abundant including many well used wallows and water holes. We generally hunt during the peak of the rut when the elk are bugling day and night. Shot distance ranges from 15 to 250 yards. It is not uncommon for shots under 20 yards. There are seldom, if any, shots over 250 yards. We do have several late season elk tags that may require longer shots but the cover is good and it is generally not hard to close the distance. Most of your hunt will require some mildly stressful hiking but may get tougher depending on the areas we are hunting and, of course,  we will always go where the big bulls are. Your guide will be mindful of your physical capabilities and will only go as fast as you can go. If you are hunting when the elk are rutting, expect to get up close and personal. Skilled professional guides will assist you on your quest to harvest that trophy bull. We maintain the belief that we have some of the most skilled and people friendly guides in the business. All of our guides are expert callers who have hunted elk all of their lives and can virtually find elk in their sleep. Our guides spend time watching these elk in their winter range as well as their summer and fall ranges. We have a pretty good idea of where these elk will be at any given time of the year.
